Braves taking on the Yankees in Tampa

After a 4-2 win against the Mets on Monday the Braves are set to take on the New York, Yankees at 7:05 p.m. ET at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.

            Left-hander Paul Maholm will make his third start of the spring. Maholm has allowed five earned runs on six hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings. He will be pitching against the Yankees’ David Phelps. Phelps finished the 2012 season: 99.2 IP, 3.34 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 96 K, 38 BB.

Johnson was the front-runner against the win against the Mets with a finish against 3-for-3 with his second homer of the spring. He is now batting .421 in 19 spring at-bats.

The Yankees last played the Red Sox on Sunday with a 5-2 win and the Braves coming off a two game winning streak, it will be interesting to see who will be victorious.
