We are just like you, boys- only prettier!
She’s not your average Jane- she’s talking about everything from PMS to RBI’s and Stiletto’s to Scorecards. Let’s face it, on occasion, there is crying in baseball, and there is no reason not to wear killer shoes to the game. It’s ok to get dirt in your skirt- that’s a great excuse to buy that one you’ve had your eye on down the street! This is where Ruth’s Babes hang out, but don’t let their lady looks fool you, they are here to win! So boys you should listen to what she has to say because remember Women: We Own Men!
In all seriousness, there has never been a time in my life that has not included sports. I was a typical Gym Rat and Ballpark Brat! If I didn’t know a lot, my mental capacity should be questioned more than it already is. For this passion of sports I have my family to thank. Not only for exposing me to them, but for never putting the notion in my head that there was anything unusual about my passion. They honestly would have been devastated if I were not the freak I am! I once broke up with a guy for talking throughout a Memphis Redbirds game. Yes, that is a minor league team. Probably my dad and granfathers’ proudest moments, and one my mother’s most appalling. I hate nothing more than constant trivia questions from guys who need to trip me up to feel better about themselves. I stopped answering the questions, not because I was wrong, but because I was right!  I know that doesn’t make sense at first glance, but one question just leads to another. While embarrassing guys like this is quite amusing, my knowledge of sports doesn’t come from a need to know more than they do. It comes from a true love of sports, and I don’t need to prove anything to anybody! That is why I am do thankful for Aerys Sports.
Aerys let’s me be me! I love sports- I follow them, I study them, I am passionate about them. Just because I wear a cute sundress and killer shoes to the game, does not mean I don’t know when Huddy has his good stuff or have an opinion about Lowe going on three days rest. It just means I can probably also tell you about Tim & Kim Hudson’s involvement with Make a Wish, and that Carolyn Lowe has shoes that I must have! This Arkansas country is a lifelong Razorback, Cardinal, Cowboy fan living in the big city. I support the Atlanta Braves, Falcons, Hawks, and Thrashers. Some may think of this as jumping bandwagons, but I see it as supporting the sports I love in the city in which I live. To sum it up for all those boys who can’t seem to understand why girls are invading their man cave, we are just like you- only prettier!
