680 the Fan listeners may know Matt Chernoff best for the jinx he appears to be on Atlanta sports teams.  Last summer, Chernoff proclaimed that the NL East was over, and fans should “ring the bell!”  Atlanta stumbled, Philly won the division, and well, the rest is history.  Matt has also jinxed two no hitters this year for Braves pitchers. So, the tital of jinx is well earned- until now.

Yesterday, Dan Uggla happened to be in the 680 the Fan studios taping a spot for Muscle Milk.  (What else did you expect?)  With a little coaxing, Uggla abliged requests to stop by for an interview.  This was a critical moment for Dan and the Braves because it was then that one Matt Chernoff decided he was no longer a jinx.  He predicted that Uggla would go 3-4 with a home run and that the slump was over.  Ring the bell, if you will. » Continue reading “Dan Uggla Before and After Chuck and Chernoff”
