When your starting pitcher begins the game falling off the mound, you could be in trouble the rest of the game. Thankfully for Tim Hudson and the Atlanta Braves, that was not the case. In the top of the first inning, Hudson caught a spike and barrel rolled off the mound, much to the dismay of fans ad teammates alike. Hudson and crew bounced back quickly with the help of catcher David Ross whose grand slam gave the Braves the lead 5-2. The Orioles could only muster two more runs which were homers by Nick Markakis and Matt Reynolds. Reynolds ended the game with two home runs and 3 RBI. » Continue reading “He’s Fallen…..But At Least He Got Back Up!”
