Newest Senator Mike McKenna, who was signed as a free agent earlier this month, has given the fan base a great player to follow and interact with on Twitter.
After Ryan Shannon’s departure from the Senators, the first player in the organization to create a Twitter account, there was once again a void for fans who had been waiting so long for one of their own to join the online conversation.
But McKenna has taken it one step further and is getting the fans involved in a big way. He has organized a Twitter poll to help him decide on a new design for his goalie pads since he’s entering into a new organization.
He began by taking submissions from fans and narrowed it down to four different groups. Click on image for full size.
