I brought a notepad with me to today’s Yankee game and forgot I had it until the fourth inning. So as a goof I took it out and this is what I wrote:

• Ubaldo suddenly pitching well. Boo!
• 1-0 Bot 4, A-Rod struck out swinging.
• Cano single. Wee!
• Tex K looking. Boo!
• Ubaldo: 72 pitches, 34 BB, 38 K at the time of Chavez’s at bat
• (In big letters) CHAVEZ 2R DOUBLE WOO!!!! 2-1
• Top of the 5th Pettitte taken out after getting hit with a comebacker. NOOOOOO!
• 4IP, 3H, 1R, 0ER, 1BB and 7K
• 1 out, 2nd and 3rd for the Indians – Boo.
• Eppley out, Rapada in
• 2 outs. Kotchman out at the plate – Wee.
• Boo – 2-2 – single by Cabrera
• 3-2 Indians BOO
• Freddy Garcia in guess he’s not starting Friday
• Yikes longest 5th inning ever
• Strikeout to end the inning. Thank goodness.

I’m laughing so hard at myself. I think I may have to do this at every game from now on. Forget a scorebook and being serious. I’m just bringing a notepad, writing everything down and inserting my stupid comments.
