- The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 9pm CT. The game will be aired on Comcast Sportsnet in Chicago.
- Previews: NHL, Chicago Tribune, Second City Hockey, The Committed Indian
- Corey Crawford will be in net for the Blackhawks, because Ray Emery‘s hip still needs oiling. (@ChrisKuc) Roberto Luongo will backstop the Canucks. It’s best if we don’t get into what’s going on in net for Vancouver. It’s not pretty. (@VanCanucks)
- Injury Report: Michal Rozsival is questionable for tonight’s game with a lower-body injury. Daniel Carcillo is still about three weeks away from returning to the ice after his knee injury. On the Canucks, David Booth is still out with a strained groin for another 2-4 weeks, while Ryan Kesler is still on IR after shoulder and wrist surgery.
- Apparently, the Canucks are still a little bitter about the whole “Duncan Keith elbowing Daniel Sedin in the head” thing, according to ProHockeyTalk. Not that I blame them, because that shit was reckless and unnecessary.
- Duncan Keith is “not really focused on what they’re going to do,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
- Patrick Kane attempts to downplay the whole thing. (The Province) Oh, Kaner, this sticker is for you:

- Johnny Oduya thanks Bangkok for getting him ready for the NHL season. (Chicago Sun-Times) Nope, no jokes to be made here.
- In prospects news, the Blackhawks traded Rockford IceHogs forward Peter LeBlanc to the Washington Capitals for Mathieu Beaudoin. Or, in other words, they traded a career AHLer for another career AHLer. (Yahoo!)
- Finally, because I’ve already seen some people attempt to use the “Sedin Sisters” insult, here’s my view on it. (The only thing I would change about that rant is that I would totally use the word “fuck” now without censorship.)
