Four game winning streak. Three game losing streak. Three game winning streak. Whatever Walleye, just know I prefer streaking on the winning end, please and thank you.
After a week which saw the Express’ lackluster play get them bumped right out of the running for the postseason and landing them in 10th place, Chicago needed to bounce back with a good showing last weekend. That they did my friends. That they did.
The Express packed up their bags again, and headed to Southwest Florida to take on the Florida Everblades three times in their first meeting of the regular season. Let’s just say the nicest thing I can say about last week is that I hope the boys enjoyed the weather. Yeesh.
First of all, I would like to thank Florida Everblades blogger and friend of ROD Swamp Hockey for letting me use the fabulous picture above, as well as her videos for this recap. You can check out her Flickr here.
Swamp Hockey was at the two preseason games the Express played against the Everblades, and, in her words, “I do not like your ECHL team. I do not like them at all.” Why? Let’s go to the recap!
