The 1972-73 season was the last time the Blackhawks started the season with three wins.

To put that into perspective (and perhaps make some of the readers of this site feel old), absolutely none of the lead writers for Aerys NHL were born the last time this occurred. Not even close.

So… ah, forget it. Instead of attempting to write out a barely-coherent post at 3 in the morning, enjoy a couple of videos, instead. (And, no, neither of them are of the dumbass fight Brandon Bollig got into with Ryan Reaves Chris Stewart during the first period, because he doesn’t need any more encouragement. Seriously, who gets into a stupid, staged fight when their team is up 1-0 and flying to the other end of the ice? Terrible players, that’s who.)
