  • The Ducks defeated the Avalanche on Feb. 6th 3-0, Viktor Fasth‘s first career shutout.
  • The 3rd meeting between the clubs will be on April 10th at Honda Center.
  • The Ducks trail 1st place Blackhawks by 6 points, but have 2 games in hand.
  • Colorado netminder (and fan favorite ex-Duck) Jean Sebastian Giguere is expected in net tonight for the Avalanche on the end of back to backs. The Avs were defeated 4-1 yesterday afternoon by the LA Kings.
  • Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler has been medically cleared to play.

Injury Report:

Cam Fowler has been medically cleared to play, but Boudreau wouldn’t reveal if he would play. Saku Koivu was having flu-like symptoms earlier in the week but should be able to play tonight. For the Avalanche defensemen Erik Johnson (head) and Ryan Wilson (leg) remain out indefinitely.
