According to the Mora IK website in Sweden (Update: NHL.com is confirming the news), they have a deal worked out with Bobby Ryan [@b_ryan9]. If the NHL Lockout continues (after today’s NHL/NHLPA meetings it’s assumed it will) Bobby will be on his way to Sweden on Tuesday.

Of Bobby Ryan, Mora IK club director Peter Hermodsson says (as best as I can translate)

It’s absolutely wonderful that we managed to get a world player…It is because of our fantastic partners and fans that we get to enjoy Bobby Ryan in a Mora sweater.

Mora IK head coach Patric Wener added in

We will have a really great use of him in the power play especially. It’s a real scorer, a player with good target inside and that is really technical. It’s incredibly fun that he wants to come here and play for us.

So adjö (goodbye) Bobby Ryan. Here in America we’ll keep hope alive that it’s a short visit. Say hallå (hello) to Cam Fowler for us!
