The Norfolk Admirals (13-14-1-0) took on the Syracuse Crunch (19-7-1-3) tonight  in Syracuse, N.Y. The result was a 4-2 loss in the 1st of 8 meetings with the Syracuse club.

Scoring for the Admirals was Kyle Palmieri [@KylePalmieri] and my favorite baby Duck, Sami Vatanen. With Frederik Andersen still out with an injury it was Igor Bobkov who manned the pipes and stopped 28 of 32 shots.

Norfolk will play again tomorrow night (in the 2nd of a 3 game road trip) against Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins beginning at 7:05pm (4:05pm PST). Cheer them on because God knows they need their Admiral’s fans’ support.
