Well football junkies, we are getting closer and closer to our fantasy league playoffs. I hope that everyone who isn’t in one of my leagues is doing well.
Seeing as how yesterday was Thanksgiving, I’m going to stay in the holiday spirit and have this be a straight to the point, arguably lethargic post.
The main thing that I want to remind fantasy owners of this week is to watch out for injuries. A few key guys have gone down in the past few weeks, so plan accordingly. Below I have listed a few players that you can expect a nice 0.00 from in fantasy points this week.
-Fred Jackson (RB for the Bills)
-Matt Schaub (QB for the Texans)
-Jay Cutler (QB for the Bears)
-Peyton Hillis (RB for the Browns)
-Dallas Clark (TE for the Colts)
-Matt Cassel (QB for the Chiefs)
-Adrian Peterson (RB for the Vikings)
-David Thomas (TE for the Saints)
-Mark Clayton (WR for the Rams)
Please, please, PLEASE adjust your rosters when injuries occur. Not only for making substitutions on offense, but to your starting defenses as well.
Just a quick thought; if you are absolutely struggling at QB, you might want to take a chance on Kyle Orton. The Chiefs signed him off waivers after he was released from Denver. I expect him to start.
(Warning, ejag101 is not, has not, and will not ever claim to be an expert. Prolonged trusting in his fantasy football knowledge could result in multiple facepalms, internal swearing, jumbled thoughts, incoherent speech, and uncontrollable laughter by family and friends if they see your subsequent lineups. Reader’s discretion is advised.)
This is just something that I’ve noticed in one of my league. Chris Johnson and Philip Rivers don’t like me. Nope, no they do not. I try to be respectful of their talents, but I can’t do it any longer.
Maybe you too have had a player or two on your team that has chosen to be insubordinate. I just want to say that you aren’t alone. I feel you virtual, fantasy pain.
