Amanda is the Senior Reporter for Oklahoma Sooner football on Ride Schooner, Ride for Aerys Sports. The site name, Ride Schooner, Ride comes from the tradition at home games of the Sooner Schooner taking the field for a victory lap after every touchdown. To say that Amanda is an avid Sooner fan is putting it mildly. When hidden behind the safe confines of her computer screen, Amanda feels 10 feet tall and bullet proof. Living in Fort Worth Texas, she always has to defend her love for the crimson and cream. Also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. She’s sometimes snarky (make that always snarky), and never afraid to voice her opinion. Amanda is an in-season Big 12 South football contributor for Turfburner and also runs her own aptly named website, BCSchick.
Amanda is also a member of FWAA, Football Writers Association of America.
