Night game atmosphere in Norman is one of the best in the country

The Sooners enter week 3 with a week to rest and get ready for a currently hot Kansas State Wildcat team. The Wildcats QB, Collin Klein has generated a lot of Heisman buzz over the last 2 weeks for his phenomenal play.

Monday on the Big XII conference call, it was announced that the Sooners and the Wildcats will meet on September 22 with a 6:50 PM kickoff in Norman. The game will be aired on Fox and featured as their game of the week. Good news is that the great Gus Johnson will be in the booth calling the game. As always, with Johnson will be Charles Davis and Julie Alexandria.

Last season, Oklahoma stomped Kansas State in their own house, 58-17. Collin Klein and the Wildcats are looking for redemption for his last season in college. The Sooners are 71-17-4 all time against the Wildcats. The Wildcats will take on North Texas this coming weekend before coming to Norman next week.

In other news, Casey Walker returns to practice on Monday after taking time off for personal reasons.
