After week one, the Sooners are on hiatus this weekend. Coach Stoops has given the team the weekend off, deservedly so. After this week, the Sooners are rolling into Tallahassee, to take on Florida State in one of the most highly anticipated games of the season.

In other Sooner news, I would like to give a Sooner Birthday shout out to the one and only: Robert Anthony Stoops. AKA Bob. He turns 
51. Good to know that Bob will not be popping any blood vessels on his birthday weekend. I kid, Happy Birthday Coach Stoops.
If you want to catch some Big XII conference action this weekend, Missouri takes on Arizona State in a Friday night late kickoff (9:30 CST). The Battle of the CyHawk Trophy between Iowa and Iowa State kicks off at 11:00 AM CST Saturday, Texas takes on BYU in Austin and Kansas takes on Northern Illinois; both at 6:00 PM CST. Oklahoma State played Arizona Thursday night, which resulted in a beatdown of the Wildcats. Pokes QB, Brandon Weeden had amazing numbers and showed his worth in pre-Heisman talks.
