Since nothing really important is going on, I declare this Tuesday to be Test Driver Tuesday. We’ll start with the most attractive of them all over at Lotus Renault GP.
Meet Jan Charouz of the Czech Republic, Bruno Senna of Brazil, and Romain Grosjean of France (for licensing sake). LRGP actually has FIVE test drivers, but the other two aren’t important apparently.
Let’s start with Jan, who was Renault’s test driver last year also. He also participates in Formula Renault and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Last year was definitely a good year for him as it was the first time he got to drive an F1 car, and he finished second in the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours. In 2009, his Aston Martin LMP1 team were the champions of the Le Mans Series in Europe.
Jan is 23, Czech, and adorable. I don’t think we can ask for much else. I’m sold just when I say “Czech.”
