DeSean Jackson Inactive in Today’s Game Against Arizona

I'm just gonna step on out and miss this team meeting

On the eve of a must-win game for the Eagles to salvage their season, The Daily News’ Les Bowen reports that DeSean Jackson will be inactive for today’s game. How could this happen so suddenly?

Well, because D-Jacc decided he had something more important to do than attend a special teams meeting on Saturday morning. It was originally reported that he was late to the meeting. But no. He missed it altogether.

Jackson claims that his alarm clock didn’t go off and that he overslept. Yes, really.

Here are Bowen’s tweets as the information unfolded:

It seems to say that Jackson has accepted the fact that his efforts to get a larger contract from Philadelphia have failed. While that certainly must be difficult to accept personally and professionally, his actions will now negatively impact his team.

Was it worth it, DeSean?
