In case you missed it:  I really should have covered this yesterday in my post game wrap-up, but former top prospect and first baseman, Sean Doolittle, threw one perfect inning yesterday against the Cubs, he also had 2 strikeouts.

Coco Crisp’s deal became official yesterday.  Crisp’s contract is worth $14 million over two years with a club option for 2014.

According to Jane Lee, along with speaking to free agents, Billy Beane is still exploring trade possibilities. Anyone want to take a guess who goes next? My bet goes to Grant Balfour.

Landon Powell, who was DFA’d on December 23rd, cleared waivers on Thursday and he now has 8 days to decide if he will accept assignment or not.
