Niners get their mojo back against Rams

It was a game the San Francisco 49ers hoped would help them regain their confidence.

The Niners defeated the St. Louis Rams 35-11. And, I’d say they are back to what we all expected from this team.

So here’s a few thoughts on the game!

  • The Rams really aren’t good. Their offensive line is offensive. Their defensive line is just as offensive. Jeff Fisher is a really good coach. But he’s not a miracle worker. Hopefully this team can make some moves that really improve their team. Hopefully, they have enough time to make these moves before a fire sale happens.
  • The Rams could rebound next week. They take on the Jacksonville Jags in STL. Yeah…
  • Nice to see Colin Kaepernick have a good game. He was 15 of 23 passing for 167 yards and 2 TDs. He also kept the ball three times for 11 yards.
  • Frank Gore ran for 153 yards and a touchdown. Kendall Hunter ran for 49 yards and a TD. Anthony Dixon also ran in for a TD. Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin each had touchdown receptions.
  • NaVorro Bowman had a huge game on D for the Niners. He had five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. Boom!
  • We’ll see if the Niners really are back to their old selves as they take on the Houston Texans in Sunday night football action!
