Drew Brees threw for 342 yards, 3 TDs, and one INT. The cherry on top this Sunday was Brees’ 7-yard rushing touchdown. Brees now has eight consecutive games with 300+ passing yards.

Jimmy Graham was the Saints’ leading receiver with 134 yards and two TDs (a 16-yard pass and a 7-yard pass from Brees). Robert Meachem was welcomed back into the Who Dat fold with a 27-yard touchdown reception.

Brees’ rushing touchdown was really the highlight of the Saints ground game. Rookie Khiry Robinson got some touches and was the Saints leading rusher (38 yards).

The Saints defense allowed one touchdown, but they applied consistent pressure on the Cardinals. Carson Palmer was sacked four times–twice by Cam Jordan and once each by Junior Gallette and Glenn Foster. Kenny Vaccaro and Keenan Lewis each intercepted Palmer.

Along with the two picks, Palmer ended the day with 187 yards. Alfonso Smith scored Arizona’s only points with a 3-yard touchdown run.

The Saints next play the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
