Yesterday, it was reported that on Saturday, the Crimson Tide had an “accident” with their National Championship trophy at the A-Day game. The ball was shattered by a current players father whose foot got caught on the rug underneath the podium where it was being displayed.

Apparently the trophy is hand made in Ireland and costs $30,000 grand to make. Whoops? I bet the player and his father are completely mortified.
