The Mariners open their home Spring Training games with, you guessed it, another one against the A’s. Today’s lineups:

Seattle: 3B Figgins, 2B Ackley, RF Ichiro, 1B Smoak, LF Carp, C Olivo, DH Peguero, CF Saunders, SS Ryan, RHP Noesi.

Oakland: 2B Jemile Weeks, CF Colin Cowgill, LF Seth Smith, DH Jonny Gomes, 1B Kila Ka’aihue, 3B Josh Donaldson, RF Michael Taylor, C Anthony Recker, SS Eric Sogard, RHP Tyson Ross.

Michael Saunders gets another shot at center field, batting eighth in the lineup again today. After yesterday’s 2-run homer, I’m expecting great things from him again.

Like Wedge said yesterday, today’s lineup will also feature a bit more of what we’re going to see in April, with Figgins at leadoff, Ichiro batting third, and Olivo behind the plate. Other players to keep an eye on: Brendan Ryan, as he recovers from shoulder, neck, and back stiffness to play shortstop, and Hector Noesi, the right-hander who came with Montero in the Mariners-Yankees trade this offseason.

Will the Mariners pull off another win against the A's?
