Ashley
Although her love for baseball has led to a long-distance relationship with the San Francisco Giants, Ashley is a Seattle native and devoted M’s fan. She loves listening to stories about Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez, and Randy Johnson, mostly because her earliest memories of the Mariners are wrapped up in the results of animated hydroplane races. You can find her counting down to spring training at West Coast Fan[girl] and Around the Foghorn.

Jeff
A native of Washington state (okay, he was born in Portland, but he grew up on the right side of the Columbia), Jeff has been a fan of the Seattle Mariners since the late 1980′s. He’s an Edgar fan, refuses to do the wave, and has no idea why he’s typing in the third person right now. Whatever. Most days, you’ll find him scrolling through DVR’d M’s games, reading one of the various wonderful M’s blogs, or teaching his kids how to turn two properly. Look for him at FanFest every year. He’ll be the 30+-year-old guy running the bases with the enthusiasm of a third-grader.

You
That’s right, you! If you have a love for the Mariners, a passion for writing, and a need to fill those long offseason days with some baseball talk, you may be just the contributing writer we’re looking for. Email Ashley at westcoastfan @ ymail.com for details, requirements, and answers to all your questions (including, but not limited to, “Will the Mariners make the playoffs with Pujols in the West?”).
