Quick update on all the chatter and movement going on in the Tigers clubhouse this morning.

Finally Ryan Raburn or more affectionally known as “Rugburn” has been optioned down to Toledo! He is currently hitting .146 and was optioned down last night after another loss to the Red Sox.

Tigers fans every where collectively shout HOORAY!! The club will bring up catcher Omir Santos to replace Rugburn.

Could Santos who is hitting .310 for Toledo be just what the Tigers need at to reignite the win spark? Or will the Tigers continue to struggle. With this switch the Tigers now have as many active catchers as middle infielders: three apiece.

Fans can only hope that this switch will help shake things up in a good way for the Tigers. It won’t fix all of the issues we seem to be facing but something needed to be done regardless.   A catcher at second? Madness or genius?
