Freedom is not free

Yesterday afternoon the Detroit Tigers swept the Minnesota Twins bumping their  win streak up to three.

Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run homerun in the top of the ninth to take the game 4-3.

Today the Tigers are in Boston taking on the Red Soxs at 1:35 p.m.  Doug Fister (0-2, 1.84 ERA) and Felix Doubront (4-2, 4.96) will take the mound.

Whether you are at a BBQ or just enjoying a day off, remember those who have lost their lives and have given up their days off to protect our country.
