Baseball “Drama” Never Lasts

Remember when everybody was upset about Albert leaving the Cardinals after winning a World Series?

Remember how everyone has hated multiple players for using steroids and then forgets about them months later?

Sports, and baseball especially, seems to always transition through “drama” rather quickly.

One night Jim Leyland is getting ejected, or Delmon Young is getting arrested  and then some other Tigers “drama” takes over.

The Detroit Tigers are struggling right now, yes, but when was the last time there was no “drama” to overcome before winning?

I’m still staying positive, but this tweet to the right makes it a little difficult after another Tigers loss to the Indians last night 9-6.

Detroit takes on Cleveland for the last game in the series this afternoon at 1:05.

This will be the last game until the 25th of June that the Tigers will play an American League team.  Inter league play starts Friday with the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

I heard a fan last night at the stadium I work at talking Detroit Tigers with a fan they said:

“Ever since the Tigers let Brandon Inge go, things have gone down hill.”

I will leave you with that.
