NSCS Irwin Tools Night Race: Kes and the Amazing Cankle

So do any of you remember a driver by the name of Brad Keselowski that we mentioned a few weeks ago about how awesome he was by winning a NASCAR race on a broken ankle? Yeah, guess what: he did it AGAIN tonight on the world’s loudest half-mile oval.
That’s right, kids. Brad Keselowski, once again, defied all logic and walked (or should I say limped) away with the checkers tonight at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Irwin Tools Night Race.
On a broken ankle, yet again, Brad led 89 of 500 laps and notched his third win of the 2011 season.
Believe it or not for a hot, summer night Bristol was rather cool. Tempers really didn’t flare and everybody seemed to walk away happy but it was Brad and his amazing cankle that took center stage.
But this evening wouldn’t be complete without some “oopies” and “duhs” that we must address in the form of a semi-snarky rant. Join me.
