Happy Labor Day! Hope you’re not working today and are enjoying cooking out on the grill, hanging out with friends and family, going for a run or enjoying some sporting events! While you’re taking a break with your coffee, I’ve got some headlines for you to check out! Let’s go!
Ray Lewis is quite the conspiracy theorist! An interview will air tonight on the NFL Network in a documentary about last season’s Super Bowl in which Lewis’s Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won despite an unbelievable come back attempt by the Niners that began after a 30-minute delay in which there was a power outage at the Super Dome in New Orleans.
Lewis doesn’t think the power outage just happened. He believes it was a conspiracy! The Ravens were ahead 28-6 at the time out of the outage. And then BOOM!
Here’s a little more about the documentary and Ray Ray’s thoughts!
- After the New England Patriots cut Tim Tebow on Saturday, media and fans alike wondered what would be next for the Heisman Trophy winning, two-time National Champ. With that came a load of rumors!
According to SportsWorldReport.com:
Some teams that could be interested down the line include the Bills, Raiders, Vikings, Chargers or Chicago Bears and even though Oakland already has four quarterbacks, why not add a fifth. … The Bears and Chargers were mentioned as options before Tebow was signed by the Patriots and the Vikings could be a fit depending on how they think about using Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel this season. The Patriots are playing the Bills in Week 1 and there is a chance that Tebow could play for his third AFC East team if he is signed by Buffalo.
Tebow wants to be an NFL quarterback. That’s certain. So he may have some options! Maybe! The rumor mill of where Tebow goes next is in full steam ahead mode! Hang on! This is sure to get crazy!
- Fox Sports NFL Sideline Reporter Pam Oliver has been dealing with concussions symptoms since getting… well … NAILED in the noggin’ by an errant Chandler Harnish pass during a Colts preseason game. It’s a pretty terrifying story. We’re glad she’s doing better!
- Admit it! You were one of those people shocked that the Oakland Raiders might be going into the season with four quarterbacks! Not so fast! Tyler Wilson, a fourth-round pick in April’s draft out of Arkansas, was waived Sunday, according to the league. Wilson reportedly struggled mightily throughout the summer and was outplayed by undrafted rookie Matt McGloin. Terrelle Pryor and Matt Flynn join McGloin as QBs for the Raiders.
- Chris Kluwe and the Oakland Raiders parted ways on Sunday. Kluwe does hope to kick for a team this season.
Meanwhile… here’s a meme! We understand, little buddy!
