Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo are in Orlando for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, and Rondo was added to Saturday night’s Skills Challenge.
Rondo replaces the injured Stephen Curry and will take on Kyrie Irving, Tony Parker, John Wall, Russell Westbrook, and Deron Williams. The six players go head-to-head in the timed obstacle course testing their dribbling, passing, and shooting.
The All-Star festivities kicked off last night with the Celebrity Game and the Rising Stars challenge. Tonight’s schedule also includes the Shooting Stars, the Three-Point Contest, and the Slam Dunk contest.
The four dunkers have a lot to live up to after Blake Griffin won last year’s competition by jumping over a car. Chase Budinger, Paul George, Jeremy Evans, and Derrick Williams face off to take the 2012 crown.
And of course, the weekend concludes when the East and West all-stars take the court to vie for top honors.
