The Leafs scored three goals on their first four shots to chase Carey Price en-route to a 5-1 win over the Canadiens at the Air Canada Centre.
Price was yanked 10 minutes into this one and gave way to Peter Budaj. The onslaught continued as the Leafs scored four goals on their first five shots. However, Budaj made some outstanding saves, and this one could have been a lot uglier than it already was.
Davis Drewiske was the lone Hab to beat James Reimer, with the Leafs taking the season series, winning three of the four games between these two teams.
After clinching a playoff spot the other night with a win over the Buffalo Sabres, the Canadiens find themselves struggling to play .500 hockey of late. The Habs are 7-6 over their last 13 games.
The Philadelphia Flyers come to town on Monday night, hoping to avenge their 5-3 loss to them earlier in the month.
