Late Night segment takes on Major League Soccer

For soccer fans in the United States, it’s not often we get to see the sport talked about on nationally recognized shows. Other than ESPN… well, even on ESPN since we rarely see mentions of American soccer on there either. I could go on about that, but that’s not why I’m writing this.

I’m writing this because Major League Soccer actually was talked about on late night television, David Beckham was not in the mix and further more, it was about the MLS All Star game.

Today, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon posted a video of Jimmy’s latest segment of Late Night Superlatives in which he takes on the MLS All Star Players. And it’s pretty hilarious. Watch for yourself!

Yeah, he’s poking fun at players, but you look me in the eye and tell me you haven’t made some pot joke about Kyle Beckerman’s hair. That’s right, you can’t because everyone’s make a Beckerman-dreads-pot joke. And now, they’re doing it on late night TV. Just one step closer to MLS domination, fans, just one step closer.
