*The Allen Americans are the first team in the Centreal Hockey League(CHL) to clench a playoff spot. They have 71 points and are currently leading in first place over Wichita and Fort Worth by six points.

*Forward Jarret Lukin was named Oakley CHL Player of the Week.

* Goaltender Aaron Dell was names Oakley CHL Goalie of the Week.

Week Ahead:

* The team travels to Rapid City this week to play back to back games on Friday March 8& Saturday March 9. They will then travel back to prepare for their game on Tuesday against the Arizona Sundogs and former teammate Kip Brennan.

* The previously scheduled games on March 15&16 at the Fort Worth Convention Center have been moved to Nytex. Puck drop is set for 7:30 those games.
