After the long wait, the Allen Americans season schedule was finally released.

Sources tell me the reason behind the delay was the pending sale of the Texas Brahmas CHL franchise.  Two potential buyers were vying to purchase the club and unfortunately both offers fell through due to financial reasons.  A currently unknown third buyer stepped up and was able to complete the sale.  The CHL was waiting for this to happen before releasing schedules to keep the league at least filled with 10 or more teams.  I’m glad this finally came to fruition and now await the season opener October 20th @ 7:05pm against the Arizona SunDogs.
