No news is good news, right?
With a little over 30 hours to go until decision time, there still isn’t a clear answer as to where Shea Weber will play next season.
Many believe the longer Nashville takes, the better the chances are Weber isn’t a Flyer. Others can’t see how the Predators can afford to match the $110 million offer sheet the Flyers singed Weber to last week.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, Nashville’s owners are meeting today to try and come close to a decision.
At this point nobody knows which direction they are leaning towards. It is safe to say, however, that the Predators organization is making the Flyers sweat in hopes that they would agree to make a trade.
Obviously that is something that the Flyers do not want to do but with the New York Rangers getting Rick Nash, the Flyers have to make a splash somehow and now their hands are tied.
Nashville has to 11:36 Wednesday night to make a decision.
