Flyers Create Another Bromance

The Flyers may still be in the midst of filling in the missing pieces for next season but the one thing that they aren’t lacking in is bromances.

We are all familiar with the Claude Giroux and Danny Briere bromance that started a few seasons back when Briere opened up his home to the young stud. In fact, G has a formed a few bromances, including one with his 2011-12 line mates, Scott Hartnell and Jaromir Jagr.

Sean Couturier jumped in Giroux’s spot when he moved in with the Briere clan and when the Flyers traded James van Riemsdyk a few weeks ago, they created the ultimate bromance, Luke and Brayden Schenn.

On Thursday, the Flyers signed defenseman Bruno Gervais to help solidify their blueline but in the process reunited him with his best friend, Max Talbot.

Talbot and Gervais go way back, all the way to the Quebec Junior Triple-A league where they both played with Antoine-Girouard. They also host a charity golf tournament every summer in Quebec.

The Flyers are big on the whole chemistry in the locker room, something that definitely won’t be a problem this season.
