They Said WHAT? – No Mention Of The “L” Word

What could this man be saying on twitter? Better yet, does he even have a twitter account? (Photo: Dinur Blum/flickr)

This past week, NHL players haven’t said much…other than the fact that we won’t have games anytime soon is not their fault. (I refuse to use that word everyone keeps saying.) Through that PR mess, we did manage to find a gem or two.

First up, we have a twitter account that may or may not belong to a goalie for the Vancouver Canucks. (Oh who are we kidding…it’s Luongo whether he is willing to admit it or not.)

I’m a Coyotes fan and even I admit it’s an interesting question. I mean Doan loves the area so much he might decide to stay no matter what. That said, can someone explain to me why Shane Doan needs a no move clause? Are the Coyotes planning on trading him at any point in his career? Yeah, didn’t think so.

While we’re looking at “Strombone’s” tweets, here’s another:

Pretty sure there was another meaning behind that tweet. Even though I won’t mention that word, got to give him credit for that one.

And finally, being a Rangers fan helped me find this one. Brady Skjei was the Rangers first round draft pick this year so while he isn’t an NHL player yet, he’s a hockey player so I say his tweets can be used for this. Plus we all need a good laugh and the mental image that comes along with this…

Yeah. I don’t think anything else needs to be said.
