We head to the Western Conference for this week’s Hawt Trophy.  The Vancouver Canucks get a lot of press for Ryan Kesler and his charms, but one of his teammates may be even more handsome.

Meet Kevin Bieksa, Canucks defenseman.

In addition to his looks, there are a lot of other things to love about Bieksa. He’s a hard-nosed hockey player, a great teammate, and very active in the community. After the death of his teammate Rick Rypien, Bieksa became active with Mindcheck.ca , a website designed to raise awareness about mental health issues and to help those dealing with those struggles.

And he looks good with a playoff beard.

Indeed.
