
On Thursday, fans of the American Hockey League finally got word of who they’d see on the ice at the 2013 Dunkin’ Donuts AHL All-Star Classic taking place on January 27 and 28 at Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Beginning today through until January 24, AHL fans can vote for their favourites to determine the starting line-ups for the 2013 AHL All-Star Game by visiting facebook.com/theahl and completing the official CCM AHL All-Star Fan Ballot.

It’s amazing that it’s taken this long for The Hawt Trophy to go to a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning. I only cover the team at Sons of Andreychuk, for Gretzky’s sake. That drought ends today!
This week’s recipient is Tampa’s tattooed forward Ryan Malone. A veteran player who isn’t afraid to head to the rough parts of the rink, Bugsy is also an American boy who represented the USA at the 2010 Winter Games.
