As expected, the NHL has cancelled its preseason schedule through Sept. 30, as announced by the league on the NHL.com website today.
In addition, the Kraft Hockeyville preseason game in Belleville, Ontario, has been postponed. The game was originally scheduled for Oct. 3. Although no games past the end of September have been officially cancelled yet, it’s safe to say they may be next.
