Clearly goalie levitating was banished from the game of hockey to make things a bit more fair for the shooters. Either that or there was a rash of break dancing in the crease during the early 1990s.

Just because the NHL players are locked out doesn’t mean there will be a stop to the hockey cards. There is plenty of badness left to explore.

Where to begin? The card looks like a faux newspaper. If young Paul Kariya were around today, he could have been cast in one of those popular teen vampire movies.

If you take away any lessons from today’s cards, let it be this. Make sure you mind what you eat before photo day. We recommend staying away from the beans.
