As today began, it seemed like all hope was lost. It was reported that the deal between Greg Jamison and Glendale was dead. Cue crying into soup.

It was said that Jamison could not come up with a remainder of the purchase price of the team. It was even speculated that the NHL would suspend the organization until it could be sold or moved. Cue more crying.

However (and this is a big however), as the day came to a close the news broke that the deal was not in fact dead. My mind may have done a backflip, and by may have, I mean it did do a backflip. I was so disappointed that once again the future of the Coyotes organization was going to be left in limbo, only to have found this glorious piece of news out.

Is the hot seat finally cooling down? I sure hope so, because I can’t afford to keep crying into my soup.
