My name is Lauren. I'm a Fall 2009 graduate of the Journalism & Media Studies program at the University of South Florida's St. Petersburg campus (USFSP). I am a huge sports fan. My favorite teams are the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning, MLB's Tampa Bay Rays, NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NCAA football/basketball's USF Bulls, Florida State Seminoles, Auburn Tigers and Florida Gators. I currently work part-time for the Clearwater Library System as a Library Page and also, when needed, cover high school athletics for the "Tampa Bay Times", the area's major newspaper. I also write some articles for "Daily Shootout". In my free time I enjoy reading and writing my blog articles, both for this site and "Daily Shootout". Lastly, I love taking photos, some of them crazy, whether with friends/family or at sporting events. I'm sometimes called a "photo whore" because I take so many but what's the fun of being left without memories??
