In the latest round of players to head out of Music City, we see two of the young Predators headed back to the little leagues as they play another season in Milwaukee. Ryan Ellis and Gabriel Bourque will likely stay with the Admirals until a new deal is cut between the NHL and Player’s Association.
Who knows, maybe these boys will rack up enough practice to become regulars once the NHL season starts back up.
In other (quite possibly bigger) news, a fan favorite has sought play elsewhere in the big ole hockey world. Pekka Rinne’s agent announced Tuesday that Rinne has signed on to play in the KHL with the Dinamo Minsk in Belarus.
You have to wonder though, with a cornerstone team member signing outside of the NHL, will more Predators follow Rinne’s lead? Stay tuned to see what happens!
