After a few slow weeks on the signing front, the Predators announced earlier today that they have signed a man to help bolster their defensive depth.
That man is vetern D-man Scott Hannan, who has played in over 900 regular season games and in 82 playoff games throughout his career. Hannan also has a connection with Captain Shea Weber; both defensemen have played for the Kelowna Rockets.
Hannaen comes to Nashville with the experiences of playing for San Jose, Colorado, Washington, and most recently Calgary. He now has a one year $1 million contract with the Predators.
The Predators will be hosting a “Skate of the Union” Town Hall Meeting at Bridgestone Arena Monday 20, from 4-6pm. Be ready to skate and take home some autographs! Players expected to be present include Mike Fisher, Kevin Klein, and Colin Wilson.
In the meantime, today celebrates the 32nd birthday of the first ever drafted Predator, David Legwand. Happy birthday good sir!
