Gabriel Bourque may be a newcomer to the Nashville arena, but he has made a pretty big impact on Music City ice

Bourque was drafted in 2009 by the Predators, spending the next season struttin’ his stuff in the QMJHL. Between playing for two teams that season, he posted 52 points, later posting nine points for Team Canada at the Junior World Championships.

2010-2011 saw Bourque play in Milwaukee with the Admirals. In 78 games the winger tallied 36 points before being called up the Preds in late December 2011. Talk about a great Christmas present!

It took a few games, but Bourque finally scored his first NHL goal in January 2012 with an assist against Dallas.

The Rimouski, Quebec native will be celebrating his 22nd birthday in just under a month, hopefully with thoughts of the new NHL season and all it may bring to this young star!

Season Stats:

Games played: 43

Goals: 7

Assists: 12
