With only one man lost and no word yet on Suter, I’d call this a pretty uneventful signing day.

Jack Hillen has signed with the Washington Capitals after a year with Nashville. The Predators seem to be having a size crisis at the moment, as it appears the shorter defensemen that are up for free agency are not being resigned.

But this is a small blip on the Smashville news radar.

What we all want to know is when will Ryan Suter FINALLY make a decision on signing with a team? Suter’s agent has anounced there will be no decisions before Wednesday, but word has it that Detroit, Minnesota, and Philadelphia are all lobbying for Suter’s signature.

And of course Nashville is doing it’s best to keep one of their top D-men around. Until tomorrow, when #Suterwatch continues!
