Brees completed 28/50 passes for 341 yards. WR Lance Moore was his leading receiver with 123 yards.
RB Mark Ingram scored the Saints lone touchdown, a one-yard run in the second quarter.
Falcons QB Matt Ryan was 18/33 for 165 yards and a 17-yard TD to TE Tony Gonzalez. Michael Turner scored on a three-yard run in the in the first quarter.
The Saints are on the road next week against the Giants.
