Goodbye from Cocky Country

547224_569256189797538_704336893_nAfter almost three years, hundreds of posts, and a ton of sports history being made at South Carolina, Cocky Country is saying goodbye.

It’s been a wonderful run here, and I hope you’ve all enjoyed reading my work as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. If you have, follow me over to Garnet and Black Attack, where I’ll be focusing mainly on Gamecocks baseball (for now, anyway). If you’re on Twitter, you can also find me @kdzwierzynski. Cocky Country’s Twitter and Facebook accounts will probably still exist in some capacity too, though I’m not sure what it will be. And I’ll still be around Aerys, focusing on the SEC/NCAA news as well as this, that, and the other. Speaking of Aerys, I owe a huge amount of thanks to Julie, who gave me the opportunity to write here.

To everyone who has read, commented, and tweeted along since Cocky Country was just something I dreamed up in my apartment in Columbia, thank you. Because my huge crush on the HBC was no secret here on Cocky Country, I’ll leave you with my favorite Steve Spurrier quote ever: “I once said you’re either a Gator or a Gator Hater; I’ve changed my tune a little now. Now I say you’re either a Gamecock or a Cock Block: a little racy, but it gets the point across.”

Click clack, y’all.
