Coming from a Cuban family, I have been exposed to baseball all my life. I went to my first Marlins game in 1993 and fell deeply in love with the game. (I still have the program my parents bought me from that first game, by the way.) I still go to Marlins games with my husband, Max, and my best friend, Jose. We are like the Three Musketeers, sitting in our section, yelling at opposing players, or trying to get a foul ball somehow.

I am also obsessed with Project Runway, so expect to find some funny PR gifs in my blog.

I graduated from FIU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also write the FIU blog for Aerys, Panther Territory. I live with Max and our two dogs, Lola and Lily, who are the Marlins’ #1 fur-fans!
